Here are some cheery holiday recipes that will help make you and your guests jolly!
We’ll start with a simple, but tasty appetizer to warm everyone up, and it calls for only six ingredients, and a small or medium size cooker.
Hot Cheesy Chicken Dip
2-13 ounce cans of Swanson Chicken breast meat
1-16 ounce jar of salsa
½ packet taco seasoning
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can of chopped black olives
Drain chicken very well and shred with fork right into the slow cooker.
Add and mix together remaining ingredients.
Heat in slow cooker until cheese is melted. Serve hot with tortilla chips.
Time for a beverage! Festive Christmas cocktails always add to the cheery atmosphere. This is a great time of year for a good old fashioned, blended, creamy drink that features tequila or rum cream liqueur and cinnamon.
You’ll need a blender, a power source, booze, ice, and some friends!
Fill the blender 3/4 full with ice.
Add 4 to 6 ounces of “1921 Tequila Cream Liqueur” (or you can substitute with Cream Rum Liqueur)
3 drops vanilla
2 ounces of evaporated skim milk
3 ounces Kahlua
Pour all ingredients except the cinnamon powder and stick into the blender. Blend for about ten seconds or until slushy.
Pour into cocktail glasses. Sprinkle cinnamon powder on top and add the cinnamon stick as a swizzle.
