NEW FEATURE!

Thank you and next chapter.

Thank you for your support throughout our many years of service to Oshkosh and most recently this transition to our new web store!  We have closed our bricks and mortar location at the Shops of City Center.  The renovations and transition have been completed ahead of schedule, so you can enjoy the expanded gift selections at Caramel Crisp Gifts, more ice cream flavors than ever at Caramel Crisp Café, and the convenience of web orders sent directly to your home from Apple Blossom Books.

Our web store is up and running at www.appleblossombooks.com!  Lots of great lists from Indiebound and Next picks for all ages are available as well as e-book downloads via Kobo.  So while we are closing out our retail store, we will continue to be in business online for web orders.  You can still redeem your gift cards using our web store, make your selection, and call 920.230.3395 with your gift card number until 6/30/2014.

In addition, we are serving our teachers and schools with our expanded Direct-to-School Program with faster shipments and the same great, personalized service.  To help with the transition, we are offering a 20% discount on school orders and free shipping directly to the schools through June 30, 2014.

I am glad to have the opportunity to help my neighboring business, Caramel Crisp Café & Gifts, to expand and become the premier location for gifts locally.  Caramel Crisp Gifts will continue to offer a selection of books including children’s picture books, baby board books, gift books in sections like Gardening and Cookbooks.  Caramel Crisp will not be offering special order services or a general selection, so I’d encourage you to visit the Apple Blossom Books web store for special orders and a broader selection of titles.  Please come down and see the completed renovations, the expanded ice cream counter (YUM!), the vast selections of unique gifts, and more at Caramel Crisp Café & Gifts.

On a personal note, I want to thank all of our patrons, our friends, the community, my fellow downtown business owners, the Oshkosh BID, local libraries and schools, and especially my staff.  I have been honored to have a chance to know you all and to serve a small part in our community in fostering a passion for books and reading.  These past few years have been such a challenge to me to try to manage the store remotely when my husband’s job relocated our family elsewhere.  I wish I could have kept the bookshop as it has been – a treasured destination for readers of all ages to visit, enjoy, and shop.  I hope you all have many happy memories of Apple Blossom Books that you may keep forever, as I know I do!

And now for the next chapter, Apple Blossom Books via the web!  Wishing you all the very best and to always have a good book near at hand to read.

Best regards,

Candy Pearson, Apple Blossom Books LLC, 920.230.3395, abbooks@ntd.net.
