On June 9, 2014, elementary school music educator Jackie Sandene, Principal Kirby Schultz, and budding musicians Kieran and Faith were presented with a donation of $906.00 to support elementary school music programs at Webster Stanley, Oaklawn, and Oakwood schools.
The funds were raised at the Spring 2014 Oshkosh Music Artist Series Concert through ticket sales, while another $580.00 was raised through an auction and raffle to fund music lesson scholarships.
Presenting the donation were Dorothy Zerbe, Danny and Michelle Jerebek from Copper Box, Marlo Ambas from Manila Resto, and Justin Mitchell from the Oshkosh Scene.
Missing from the photo, but essential to the event, were Kristin Masarik of Heid Music, Kris Larson of Beckets, Anthony Montalvo, Jessica Johnson, Jesse Koonce of the Algoma Club, Brittany Noll, Kurt Stein, and folks with the Guilty Wanted. An additional thank you to Jason Baer and Cranky Pat’s, Michael Hoefferle, WOCT 101.9FM, WRST, Rebecca Hoffman, Dale DeVries, Michael Cooney, Chelsea Drusch, Mandy Mitchell, Joe Ferlo, Leif Larson, Andrew Hanzel, Ernie Greenwood, Jim Dorschner, folks with The Backlot Comedy House, Jeff Potts and OCMS, and all of the businesses that donated to the raffle.
